The Company

Derek A Whelan was born in Ireland, where his imagination was cultivated early, writing his high school play, ‘Clever Conversation’(1982), and being an award winning young photographer with the Dublin Camera Club.

It was his passion for story telling that attracted Derek to the film cutting room where he would be seduced into a career as a feature film editor; Film Editor Reel before returning, (a little wiser) to his first love, the written word.

Since founding Crazy Voice Film Corporation in 2003 Derek has concentrated his efforts in creating and developing both Feature and Television original screenplays.
